The beginner, up to 21 Gallons still is the perfect starting point if you’re new to distilling. It’s small enough to make quick batches and just large enough to deliver the exciting pleasures of home distilling! Its design and versatility make it ideal for experimenting with different recipes, allowing you to discover and develop your spirits of choice. Also, it’s ideal for refining previously distilled spirits and creating essential oils.

Heating

This Still comes with heating tubes that provide enough diameter to heat the mash quickly through steam, you can also count on our graded thermometers to insure proper temparature analisys and therefore better control over your final product.

Why Curves?

With our Pot Belly and Onion Head, it’s all about the curves. When you can free yourself from using rigid lines (like cylinders and cones) you can really manipulate the surface area of your still and therefore increase purity and flavor of your product. It also makes the process faster and more efficient. It’s just a lot harder to make a curved still. But we know it’s worth the time and the best distilleries in the world agree. You won’t find straight lines in the top shelf Scotch distilleries. You will find curves. Shapely stills. Because they know, like we know, it’s the best design.

Why Copper?

The use of copper lends qualities to your stills and moonshine on the molecular level that other metals just can't match. Sulfur and sulfides are a product of fermentation and are unavoidable. These can carry over into your product and give it a bad taste and nasty hangover. Enter copper. There’s some fancy chemistry that helps convert and binds this devil to the still itself, preventing it from being carried off with your product. This is then removed when you periodically clean your still.

Cleaning Your Still

Cleaning your still has never been so easy, with our top of the line CIP, the water enters the still at high pressure and the result... a clean still ready to work again at the end of the day with minimal effort. Also our copper net provides the mcuh need separation between the yeast and mash, thus prevating the mash to burn and change the flavour of your still.
